He is the man who has raised me,
He is behind everything I have achieved,
A man whom I can trust with all my heart.
He has always been on my side,
And every pain,
Every problem,
Every happiness,
Every success,

Just all of it.
He's the one whom I call first.
He is truly the man who has taught me,
Loved me, and cared for me,
Never made me feel weak.
He's always told me,
If I cannot do something,
No one else can even think about doing it.
However big the problem might be,
My first call is on his number.

It's always him whom I tell.
Every small thing at the hostel,
To every big thing in my life,
He's been the one who has always guided me,
Believed in me when no one did.
An ever proud smile on his face whenever he sees me,
And an everlasting sadness when he comes to drop me at the airport.
He is the one who has taught me,
Never to lower my standards for anyone.
He has taught me the meaning of faith.
I have always seen him busy,
But all time available if it's me who wants to talk.
I've seen him staying awake in my exams.
I have seen him crying when I was in the hospital.
I have seen him feed me food while I was revising.
I have seen him shielding me from every danger.
And I've seen him helpless when my train leaves.
He is someone who's too special to me.
If he says everything will be okay,
Then I need no more confirmations.
If he says everything will be well,
I know it's bound to go well.
He is the man whose ideals I follow.
He is the one whom I never want to betray.
For he is the one I want to see always proud and smiling.
I can never live without him,
Even if life takes turns and leads me to different ways,
Because he is my papa and I'm his beta always.
